Who is behind Avahit

Avahit is operated by MonacoWebPix, a sole trader registered in the Principality of Monaco — Répertoire du Commerce et de l'Industrie (RCI) 25P10884, registered 22 September 2025. Postal address and every other formality are on the legal notice. One operator, no newsroom and no lab; that is the whole staff list, and it decides what this site can honestly claim.

What we measure ourselves

One thing, and we measure it constantly: what stores charge. Every product in the catalogue is re-read from the merchant once a day, and each reading is kept as an observation with its date. As of Sep 12, 2026 that record holds 46,136 price observations across 2,760 products, going back to Jul 26, 2026. Within it we have seen 216 price cuts and 311 increases — the direction stores do not advertise, and the reason this record is worth keeping at all.

Everything that record supports is published: what an item cost before, the lowest figure we have recorded, when a store last put several things on sale at once, and which brands never moved at all. The full breakdown lives on the price report.

What we do not measure

We do not test products. There is no lab, no sample unit, no hours-tested counter, and we never score anything ourselves — no marks out of five, no verdicts. Star ratings shown on a product are the store’s own, labelled with the store name and the date we read them. Where a number would have to be invented — how many people bought something, how many are looking at it right now — it is left out rather than estimated.

Product titles, photos and descriptions belong to the stores. What is ours is the price record, the click counts, and any line written by the person who owns the item.

Who pays for this

Store links are affiliate links: if you buy, the store may pay a commission out of its own margin, which never adds anything to your price. No store can pay to be listed here, and no commission moves a product up any list — the ranking rules are published on how we pick and rank and they do not take commission into account. When we get it wrong

Numbers are wrong sometimes. Every one we have found is listed with its date on corrections, including what a reader saw before the fix. If you spot something — a price that does not match the store, a claim that does not hold — write to [email protected] with the address of the page.
