Do not sell or share my personal information
Avahit does not sell personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Not to data brokers, not to advertisers, not to affiliate networks. There is no opt-out switch on this page because there is nothing to switch off, and adding a toggle would imply a practice we do not have.
This page exists because “we don’t” is worth stating in the exact words the California Consumer Privacy Act uses, so you do not have to take it on faith or go looking.
The two things that could look like sharing
- Tapping a product link. You leave Avahit and arrive at the store as an ordinary visitor. The store sees the visit, and the affiliate network attributes any purchase to the creator whose link you used. We do not transmit anything about you to make that happen; it works through the cookie the store sets on its own domain. No money changes hands for your data.
- Creator storefront pixels.A creator may connect their own Meta Pixel or Google Analytics property to their own pages. Under CCPA that can count as sharing — which is precisely why those scripts do not load until you press Accept on the cookie banner. Decline, or send a Global Privacy Control signal, and they never run. You can change your mind at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.
We honour Global Privacy Control as an opt-out signal even though we have no sale to opt out of.
Your other rights, and how to use them
- Know and access.Settings → Download my data returns everything we hold about you as JSON, immediately.
- Delete.Settings → Delete account removes your account, posts, media files, comments and boards.
- Correct. Edit your profile, or write to us for anything you cannot change yourself.
- Limit use of sensitive information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as CCPA defines it, so there is nothing to limit.
- Non-discrimination. Exercising any of this changes nothing about how the service treats you. There is no paid tier that buys back your privacy.
Making a request
Write to [email protected]from the email address on the account, or use the self-service buttons in Settings. We verify identity through control of the account email — we will not ask you to send us a photo of your passport for a data request. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission we can check with you.
We answer within 45 days, and tell you if we need the extension the statute allows. There is no charge.
The full picture of what we collect and why is in the Privacy Policy; every cookie is named in the Cookie Policy; every company that can touch your data is listed in Subprocessors.
